Ted Baker

Ted has spent over four decades in executive suite leadership roles in the financial services industry. He has expertise in specialist proprietary trading, sales trading, options and equity derivatives, and clearing services. Pershing provided infrastructure, outsource solutions , client accounting, custodial services, and dealer information and business process platforms. His teams created interfaces with financial service platforms, industry utilities , global exchanges and alternate execution and settlement platforms.

Ted retired as Chairman of Pershing Trading Company, a BNY Mellon Company after service as COO and President. He was responsible for oversight of all agency trading, equity specialist, OTC , and fixed income proprietary trading where his group made markets in thousands of securities and fixed income instruments. He served on the Pershing LLC Executive Committee and the Board of Pershing Ltd in London. During his term of leadership Pershing transformed the operating model of the financial services industry allowing over 1000 partners and clients including broker dealers, banks, mutual funds, RIA's, and independent money managers to leverage the Pershing platform to eliminate legacy inefficiencies and outdated business models and focus on their core competencies resulting in improved financial performance.

Ted was CEO of Olson Global Markets, an independent technical research provider to the " Who's Who ' of portfolio mangers. He served as Vice Chair of PHLX, Chair of the SIA Options and Derivative Products Committee , Board member of The Options Clearing Corp, and NSX. Ted graduated from Carroll University and served on their Board, and as Vice Chairman for a decade.
